How to get Gigantamax Pikachu?

Pikachu is the face of Pokémon that every one of you must have seen and played in the games. But if you have been trying to transform it into Gigantamax Pikachu, you won’t be able to do so. 

Because you cannot convert a typical Pikachu into Gigantamax Pikachu—The evolution of a normal Pikachu will make it turn into Raichu.

If you want Gigantamax Pikachu, you’ll not only have to find the special Pikachu for this purpose, but you’ll also have to let go of the Raichu stage because the Pikachu with Gigantamax characteristics can’t have it.

Through Isle of Armor Expansion:

If you have the Isle of Armor expansion access, then all you need to do is find the ingredients for the Max Soup’s recipe and feed that soup to your Pikachu to make it capable of Gigantamax ability.

You’ll see a fat Pokémon available for you to be a part of your team.

From Pokémon Go:

•  You can use the Pokémon Go feature of synchronization with the Pokémon Home and get your Gigantamax directly.
•  You’ll have to save the game Of Pokémon File! Let’s Go the Pikachu file to get started with this process.
• Speak with two NPCs found in the Wild Area train station (you’ll find them in the Meetup Zone)
•  Once the NPCs find you have been on the adventure before, you’ll get the respective Pokémon.

One tip here, you don’t have to play Pokémon Go until the very end to get your Gigantamax version. You can get it from a friend, and this will work too. However, you won’t have all the fun that is part of the amazing game.

How long will it take to complete the game?

You should expect to spend around 2 hours getting to the train station. But it can be even lesser if you get through the initial moments of the game in a rush.
